In 1997, some 70 million couples in countries around the world united in affirmations of true love: Affirming the eternal true love of husband and wife, we rededicate our marriage to God. We will be faithful in marriage forever. We will teach our children sexual purity. We will support all people to uplift sexual purity and marital fidelity, beyond race, nation and religion.

The family Federation calls all couples to rededicate their marriage in the love of God, beyond race, culture or religion. The dedication of marriage is a line in the sand, separating us from the confusion of good and bad with which we grew up. We see more clearly what family is all about: a blessing of God.

A family in which there is love between father and mother provides the strongest security for the children. When families are wholesome, crime rates, drug abuse, unwanted pregnancies, abortions and neuroses naturally decline. Everyone benefits.
Faithful marriage heals lives. Sexual purity gives freedom. Without taxes, without bureaucracy, the self-healing process develops from the grassroots.

America needs strong families which can heal our communities and provide a clear model for the next generation. The Family Federation, founded by Rev. and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon, promotes the building of successful families.

We create community networks of couples committed to each other. We have regular meetings for study and discussion, reflection, prayer and meditation, recreation and good times.

We invite all couples to take a stand for marriage by rededicating their love.
