This is a special section devoted to the founders of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU), the Reverend Dr. Sun Myung Moon and his wife Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.

At the age of 15, Reverend Moon was called by God to fulfill the mission of Jesus, which had been left unfulfilled due to Jesus' crucifixion. An essential part of Jesus' mission was to establish a God-centered ideal family. That ideal family was to become the representative family of humankind before God. Reverend Moon has striven tirelessly throughout his life with the goal of fulfilling Jesus' mission - the mission of the Messiah of humankind.

Reverend Moon has never wavered in his absolute commitment to the establishment of God's ideal kingdom on the earth. To this day, when Reverend Moon has surpassed the age of 90, he continues to lead the worldwide movement of Blessed Families which he established, guiding the world away from Satan and into the bosom of God.

Reverend Moon teaches that all human beings, as descendants of the Fall, must undergo the Blessing Ceremony, in order to cleanse themselves of the original sin, which has been passed down throughout the millennia, since the Fall of the first human ancestors. Through the Blessing Ceremony, human beings can engraft onto the true lineage - the pure and holy lineage of God.

The Blessing is given by Reverend and Mrs. Moon, on the victorious foundation set by Reverend Moon as a restored and perfected man and Mrs. Moon's unity with Reverend Moon. The cleansing of an individual's original sin and his or her engrafting onto God's lineage occurs through the Blessing. As members of the heavenly lineage, the newly-Blessed couple would then honor Reverend and Mrs. Moon, who bestowed the heavenly lineage upon them, as True Parents.

In the context of each family, Reverend Moon encourages every father and mother to become true parents, meaning parents who completely embody God's parental heart toward their children. On a global scale, Reverend and Mrs. Moon encourage all Blessed Couples to embody God's parental heart towards all human beings. Blessed Couples are to relate with all people with true love, which is God's natural parental love - the love that God intended for human beings to inherit from Him through maturing to perfection and establishing ideal families of their own.

We call God, who possesses absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal love for human beings, the vertical True Parent of all humanity. We call Reverend and Mrs. Moon, who have inherited God's true love toward all human beings, and through whom all Blessed Families can do the same, our horizontal True Parents.

We consider Reverend and Mrs. Moon to have attained complete unity with God as an individual truth body couple, parents and grandparents. We believe that God is made up of male and female elements, which are best represented in an original ideal man and an original ideal woman. Unificationists believe that Reverend and Mrs. Moon have attained the level of complete resemblance of God both as individuals and as a couple, and together signify a complete manifestation of God's dual characteristics of Original Masculinity and Original Femininity.
