For the first time, the tuition and fees are being provided in Korean won, because of ongoing changes in the exchange rate of the Korean won and the US dollar. In previous years these fees were provided in US dollars, however, because the value of the US dollar changed during the academic year, the school did not receive adequate funds. When you are ready to send a payment, please check the exchange rate between the US dollar and the Korean won and make certain you are sending the correct amount in US dollars. We understand that this places an extra burden on the parents and apologize for the inconvenience.
Total cost for the 11-month GOP program:
The estimated annual fee is 10,185, 000￦ (about $11,192 with exchange rate at 910￦ for $1). Extra-curricular expenses such as music classes, major medical or dental expenses, traveling expenses, passport and visa expenses in students’ home countries are not covered by the above-mentioned fees.
 A. There is a $263 one time annual administrative fee payable to HSA UWC on August 15, 2008. Please prepare a check to send to:

Expenses related to this fee cover the administration of the Western program, including:
1. a stipend for the administrator,
2. the cost of two roundtrip tickets from the USA to Korea to visit the program, and
3. Office expenses: telephone, application process, etc.
B. The GOP fees, determined by the Korean and Western staff on an annual basis, are due in four quarterly payments, according to the following schedule: August 15, October 15, January 15, and April 15. All fees are itemized in the following pages.
