Thesis Competition on the Bering Strait and Korea-Japan Tunnel Projects

The Foundation for Peace and Unification is a nonprofit organization founder in January 2008 with a charter from South Koreaís Ministry of Land, Transportation and Maritime Affairs. Its purpose is to pursue the KoreañJapan Tunnel Project and the Bering Strait Project, which the Reverend Dr. Sun Myung Moon proposed in 1981 and 2005, respectively. Our foundation conducts academic research and international promotional activities aimed at the successful execution of these two dream projects to build bridges for world peace.

The foundation is now providing an opportunity for Blessed Central Families, Ambassadors for Peace, and any other members of the Unification Group family around the worldóincluding members of the Universal Peace Federation, Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, and Interreligious and International Federation for World Peaceóto participate in a wide-ranging discussion on the Bering Strait Project and KoreañJapan Tunnel Project for the sake of world peace.

An international thesis competition on the topic The Significance of The Bering Strait Project and the KoreañJapan Tunnel Project From The Providential Viewpoint, and Ways to Pursue These Two Projects has the purpose of providing an opportunitiy for us to think about the peace movement being carried out by the Reverend Dr. Sun Myung Moon. How can these two projects be brought to successful conclusions and actualize Reverend Moonís declaration of ìworld peaceî? The foundation hopes the members of our extended family will take part in the competition. We look forward to receiving your creative ideas.
